Satire's Wearing: Aviator Friday

Some of you may be thinking "YES she's finally posted a blog post this week!" or because this is me we are talking about you may more than likely thinking "YES she's finally posted a blog post this week, now we can tear it apart!" Whatever your twisted/lovely opinion of me...I've been hella busy lately with the metaphorical prison that is university work. I have literally four essays due in this month therefore I'm going to be a rare like a unicorn, you may never see me in the harsh daylight. However seeing as I hadn't done a "Satire's Wearing" in a while I felt I owed it to anybody who reads this blog in assuring their worried little heads I haven't suddenly given up on life and ended up walking around in tracksuits and sweatpants like a distasteful creature of society....

SO here is what I was wearing yesterday on my casual lecture to University....

Jacket- Topshop.
Dress- Topshop.
Necklace- Forever 21.
Shoes- Vivienne Westwood.
When getting up late for university (which I tend to do... a lot...the snooze button of your phone alarm is the enemy my friends...) it's always hard to put together an idea for an outfit because you are literally a lazy shrew and leave yourself with about twenty minutes to get ready. However in regards to university clothes I absolutely live in this aviator jacket and have had it now for over a year.  It just adds an ultimate updated look to any outfit I have. So if you're too lazy in the mornings to consider a pretty or theorized outfit then a leather jacket such as this or any leather jacket can instantly add calibre and a personality to your look. Even if you are wearing the ultimate in laziness... that is  the long legged foe that consists of leggings and jeans (And even though it is still winter and the jacket is not necessarily the warmest garment in the world...and the air is so cold you may feel like you are about the drown...let us just place that negativity aside for now...)

The tea dress on the other hand I bought initially just for a night out. It is girly and feminine and oh so cute.  However like most girls, it seems unruly to wear such a dress AGAIN on a night out in fear of being scorned and condemned of having only one 'going out' outfit in your life. Therefore feeling guilty I decided that I needed to wear in the daytime too, just so that the velvet material can relish once more in seeing the light of day. I then teamed it up with my sexy ugly Viv Westwood bondage shoes and the jacket in order to tone down the dressed up look...a juxtaposition of items if you will. And the necklace...which is like some reindeer creature guy was only £2.40 in Forever 21 when I went on my recent trip to London. Suffice to say that  it was a BAR FUCKING GAIN. Well it saves buying more overpriced jewellery in other reputable establishments for it only to turn discolored or rusty a week or so later....at least if it happens to this necklace I only paid £2.40 for it. Which is just my standard train fare into Town really....

Yeah sorry but...not going to stop obsessing over these shoes for a while. I love them more than my obese pet fish floating away in their algae colored tank...
